¡Qué huevos! / What a eggs!

Lo de comer, la comida, la cocina y demás es una de mis aficiones, pero para mi la vida se extiende un par de metros más allá de los fogones y tengo otros entretenimientos…
Uno de ellos son las artes plásticas y al agua (voy a clase de acuarela toooooodas las semanas y algún día os enseñaré algunos de mis garabatos) y por ello, también me interesan los blogs de esa temática.
Uno de mis favoritos es el Blog de Charuca que se dedica al diseño y desarrollo de personajillos de lo más achuchables…
Y vosotros diréis… ¿y pa’ qué me cuenta esta semejante rollo?
Pues, porque resulta que hoy ha subido una foto con un molde para hacer huevos cocidos de lo más estupendísimo
¿Venderán uno con la cara del Chikilicuatre? No me estañaría porque está hasta en la sopa… arg!

Eating, food, cuisine... are some of my interests, but I have more interests apart of them...
One of them is the plastic arts and water arts –jejeje I don’t know how to translate this joke- (I go to watercolour’s class alllllllll the weeks and some day I’ll show you some of my “Scrawls”) and for this reason, also I’m interested in the blogs of this subject.

Because I discover today that Charuca’s posted a photo with a really original mold to cooked eggs
I asked myself Can I buy one of them with the Chikilicuatre’s face?

Scanner peliculero...

Ando liada, cómo no, y soy tan gili que tengo unas cuantas cosillas escritas por casa pero luego no me acuerdo de subirlas…
Y el caso es que hay que actualizar, que si no me duermo en los laureles…
No se si seréis de los que, como yo, cuando comen fuera de casa revisan platos, vasos y cubiertos para ver si están limpios… A ver, que no voy en plan Doña Rogelia haciendo la prueba del algodón, pero me gusta echar un vistacillo rápido al menaje en busca de restos varios de ágapes anteriores al mio…
Y mira tú por donde, hoy me topo con esto: Nano UV Disinfection Scanner…
Según leo, este escáner es capaz de machacar virus y bacterias con un 99,99% de fiabilidad en casi cualquier superficie mediante el uso de luz ultravioleta durante 10 segundos.
¡Que gozada! Ya me imagino pasando el Scanner éste en plan CSI Las Vegas en busca de restos orgánicos, y poniendo los cartelitos estos que usan para marcar las evidencias… jajaja…
Lo dicho… si es que con lo peliculera que soy haría el Tandem perfecto con Almodóvar… Ya me imagino la trama… pero la dejo para otro día que ahora estamos en horario infantil…

I’m very busy, as always, and I’m so stupid that I’ve a few post written but then I don’t remember to blog them … and the reality is that it’s time to update the blog...

As I read, this scanner is capable of destroy virus and bacteria with 99,99 % of reliability in almost any surface by means of the use of ultraviolet light during 10 seconds.
Amazing! Already I imagine passing this Scanner like CSI Las Vegas in search of organic remains, and putting the these small numbered cartels that they use to mark the evidences … hahaha …
I have a very dangerous imaginative mind... I think that I would do the perfect Tandem with Almodóvar … Already I imagine the plot … but I tell you it another day that now we are in infantile schedule …

Aniversario / Wedding Anniversary

Hoy hace un año que me casé…
Hace justamente un año…
Esto no tiene nada de gastronómico pero tenía que hacer referencia a ello en un día como hoy.

Pintxos

Decidido: Pamplona nos espera mañana… Me viacomer todas las tapas del concurso y me voy beber todos los litros de vinillo que hagan falta para pasarlas…

De vez en cuando nos preparamos algún que otro pintxo para acompañar los vermuthillos que nos echamos algún fin de semana y estos son de los últimos, que ya más fáciles imposibles.

El de la cucharilla es bacalao salado (sin desalar) picado muy fino y dejado a macerar una mañana entera con un chorrito de aceite de oliva, una buena chorretada de vinagre de manzana, un golpe de pimienta y otro de eneldo.

La otra tapa son unas croquetas de queso de cabra que se prepara con una bechamel ligerita que espesaremos añadiendo el queso de cabra al gusto. Se pasan por huevo y pan rallado y se fríen en aceite de oliva bien calentito. Yo las serví con un poco de salsa barbacoa… pero eso va a gustos.

A pasar buen fin de semana que yo seguro que me lo paso teta…

It’s determined: Pamplona awaits us tomorrow… I’m gonna eat all the pintxos of the contest and I’m gonna drink all litres of wine that I need for eat them… Occasionally, we cook some pintxos to serve with a sweet vermouth that we drink some weekends at home and the following pintxos are the last. Easier it’s impossible. In the spoon there’s salted cod chopped very fine. It’s softened a morning with a bit of olive oil, a good trickle of apple vinegar, pepper and some dill. The other pintxo is some goat cheese croquettes. They’re prepared with a light bechamel that thicken adding the goat cheese to taste. We pass them through beaten eggs and bread crumbs and fry them in warm olive oil. I served them with a little barbecue sauce… but it's going to taste. Good weekend…

Ser o no ser, esa es la cuestión / To be or not to be, that's the question

Ya por tiempos remotos el amigo Shakespeare se encontraba ante tamaña disyuntiva…

Y yo no se donde dejar caer mis huesos en lo que queda de semana. Ofertas atrayentes hay muchas, pero solo una Doña Col que por el momento no ha encontrado el secreto de la ubicuidad…

Por una parte, tenemos a los amigos de “El Festín de Babel” que inauguran una exposición de escultura que tiene muy buena pinta llamada "Cuaderno de viaje" de Jesús Gazol el jueves 10, a las 19 30h de la tarde. El jueves me pilla un poco mal por temas de curro de modo que he de enterarme hasta cuando está la exposición para ver si me puedo dejar caer por allí.

Por la otra me encuentro con este otro dilema ¿Pintxo o Vino?

¿Alguien puede explicarme por qué cuando hay cosas interesantes coinciden?

No se que hacer, ir a Madrid a pasar un ratico majo con vino gratis incluido, en el evento que han montado en Cucharete o ir a Pamplona, que lo tengo a la vuelta de la esquina a disfrutar de su IX Semana del Pintxo…

Ains que dilema tan grande y tan gordo…

Shakespeare already faced with this dilemma some years ago… and now, I’ve great doubts on which to do the rest of week.

There are many attractive offers, but only one Doña Col which for the moment hasn’t found the secret of ubiquity…

On the one hand, we have the friends of “El Festín de Babel”. They inaugurate an exhibition of sculpture that looks really good called "Notebook of trip” by Jesus Gazol at 7 p.m. 30h on Thursday. That date it’s horrible for me so I’ve to found out when finish the exhibition to see if I’ll can go there.

On the other hand I meet this other dilemma for the weekend: Pintxo or Wine?

Can someone explain to me why when there are interesting things they coincide?

I don’t know what to do, go to Madrid to spend a cute time with free wine included, in the event that Cucharete have organized or go to Pamplona to enjoy their IX Week of Pintxo…
Oh my God what an horribe dilemma!!!

Semana Santa / Holy Week

Voy con retraso pero estoy de vuelta que es lo más importante…

Después de mucho estudiar y aprobar definitivamente el master del universo, decidimos descansar unos días y con la semana santa por delante, se nos puso en el morrillo planear una mini escapada por tierras leonesas desoyendo los partes meteorológicos para esos días…
El tiempo fue genial, había sol y podíamos ir a cuerpo hasta que Santa Minerva Piquero decidió que nuestra suerte cambiase y los elementos se conjurasen contra nosotros…
El sábado amaneció nevando y no paró… vaya pedazo de nevada.

Los paisanos decían que en un día nevó lo que no había nevado el año pasado, así que como no se podía hacer más nos dedicamos al comercio y bebercio que estas épocas son propicias para dulces y ambrosías varias.
Hicimos una torrijada bien rica, con la receta de la familia (que ya he visto que cada familia y zona tiene la suya propia) y bebimos limonada de león…
Jejeje que de limonada no tiene nada: vino tinto con limón, naranja azúcar y el puntillo que le quiera dar cada uno (orujo, vermouth…) y que los lugareños apodan con otro nombre que por lo políticamente incorrecto de este pasaré por alto hasta otra ocasión en la que quiera pecar de irreverente.

Descansamos y comimos bien… habrá que esperar hasta el verano para volver…

I´m late but I´m here again that it's the most important thing…

I studied a lot and at last I approve the exam of my Master in Labor Risk Prevention, so we decided to rest a few days and with some free days of Holy Week, we wanted to plan a mini breakaway in León and we ignored the weather forecast for those days…

The weather was great, there was a great sun until somebody decided that our luck had to change…

On Saturday dawned snowing and didn´t stop...

The people of the place said that in a day snowed which had not snowed last year, as well as that we couldn´t do anything so we decided to eat and drink because these dates are propitious for sweets and other tasteful foods.

We cook some delicious torrijas, using the recipe of my family (I've already seen that each family has its own recipe) and we drank lemonade of León… Jejeje in fact it isn't lemonade: red wine with lemon, sugar and orange and other things that you want to add (orujo, vermouth…) and that the place's people nicknamed under another name which is politically incorrect.

We rest and ate well… we will have to wait until the summer to return…
